Privacy policy details
Who we are
Judgment.dev is operated by Darwinian Angel Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. References to "we", "us" and "our" in this policy refer to Darwinian Angel Ltd.
What we collect
We collect only what's needed to operate the service and keep your organisation's case records accountable:
- Account information — name, email address, and organisation, supplied when you sign in.
- Case data — the case records, reasoned determinations, rules and precedents you and your team create.
- Essential technical data — IP address, request headers and basic device info, used transiently to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
- Billing information — handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
We do not run advertising trackers, third-party marketing pixels, or cross-site profiling. We do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
- To process subscriptions and send related billing information.
- To communicate with you about product updates, security notices and support.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Who processes data for us
We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers, including Supabase (database, authentication) and Stripe (payments). These processors handle data on our behalf under their own security and compliance commitments.
Cookies
We use only the cookies strictly necessary for the service to function — primarily for authentication. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@judgment.dev and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Case data is retained according to your organisation's settings and applicable legal requirements.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
